Life Lately.

I haven't written many posts of substance lately because, well, there hasn't been much to say.

Between settling (uh, that word doesn't really exist in my vocabulary, but just go with it for the purpose of this run-on sentence) after our move from Texas, preparing for the wedding and all that one of those crazy shenanigans entails (geeze, I'm never doing that again!), moving between New York and Massachusetts three times, and getting organized for our next big move, this summer has just flown by. Is it really the last Monday of August? Say it isn't so.

Here is my summer according to Instagram:

So, what's else is up with my life lately?

Well, I'm craving for hockey to start. Meh, I take that back...I'm craving for the structure that the season brings to me. I'm a very pen and paper, meticulous person between the months of September and May, but once June hits and I don't have my entire life planned around a hockey schedule, I morph into this very lazy go-with-the-flow type of person who doesn't get much of anything done. I guess that's why it's called the "off season", right? A free pass to gain 10 pounds and only wash my hair once a week? Fine, I'll take it.

I've jumped head first into the new business adventure that I mentioned last week. You know me and those crazy ideas that I always have because I have too much time on my hands to think about what I should be doing instead of sitting and thinking? Yes, it's one of those, but I'm pretty confident about this one. I'm excited, and I'm 94.7% finished with my Business Plan, which according to my Google re-searches is the very important first step of starting a business. Duh.

Frequent "I'll tell ya what I want, what I really really want" dance parties (is it still called a party if it's only me?) have been happening in my life. How amazing was it to see The Spice Girls reunited at the Closing Ceremony and then sing along to Wonderwall? I went right onto iTunes, downloaded Spice Girls and TLC songs, and haven't looked back since. TJ told me that I was "wasting money on garbage songs", but he clearly has no idea how much Left Eye and Baby Spice influenced the woman that he just married.

Is anyone still reading my ramblings? I have changes coming to my blog. It's been an exhausting fun time exploring different niches, but I'm ready to go back to my roots. Expect more posts like this...just me, unedited.
