The Fanciest Way To Kill Your Liver | DIY Infused Alcohol

Last night I enjoyed a girls night out with old friends.

One of my favorite things about these girls is that we range in age from 18-40(ish) and yet we always have the best time together. We worked together at a restaurant - a few of us, together for a solid ten years! - and even though we don't all work together anymore or see one other as much as we use to, when we do get together we pick up right where we left off, and we have the best belly-laughing time together. Each time I come home I can't wait to see them, and I love each one of them like they are sisters.

Somehow our conversation at the table turned to discussing about how much we love bacon (I don't know why, it just happened, haha!), which led to a conversation about bacon infused vodka. I recently read a magazine article about a bar down south that offers multiple infused vodkas, with their specialty being a bacon infused vodka which is used to make a smokey flavored bacon infused Bloody Mary. I don't know about you, but I think that sounds delicious.

I'm on a mission this summer to try and organize a little party around the pool where everyone who attends brings their own infused alcohol and we can play around with mixers to create our own concoctions.

I also think if you found fancy bottles (or use large mason jars!), crafting your own infused alcohol would be a great last minute hostess gift for the many celebrations, cookouts and get-togethers that take place throughout the summer.
